Doha Corniche
The Corniche has some of the main hotels and restaurants and provides good views over the sea. Popular with walkers and joggers and extends for seven kilometres alongside Doha Bay .

Fish Market
Fresh fish each day all beautifully displayed. If you want to buy the earlier the better. Located on Salwa Road. , Al Maamoura

Khor Al Udaid
The ‘inland sea' at the south eastern end of the country is explored in a 4 WD and opportunities exist for sand boarding.

Musheirib
Musheirib is the traditional shopping area.

Palm Island
In the centre of Doha Bay , 10 minutes by dhow from Sheraton Hotel Jetty. On the island are amusement rides, sandy beaches, restaurants.

Souk Waqif
Doha's original souk with a network of alleyways. Lots of small shops selling all sorts of goods, spices, perfumes and baskets.

The Gold Souk
Most of the gold is 21 carat and is all tested and marked to ensure reliability.

Umm Salal Mohammed
About 20 km north of Doha is the historic village of Umm Salal Mohammed with old buildings and fine architecture. The fort is famous for it's thick walls and T shape structure which is fairly unique in the Gulf.

Wakra
A small town to the south of Doha with dhow harbour, museum and beaches.
